This past Thursday, Jon Stewart conducted a painful to watch interview with former Sen. John Sununu (R-NH), who is mentioned as a possible contender for the Senate seat that Judd Gregg may or may not vacate in 2010.
As Taegan Goddard (PoliticalWire) commented, Sununu is gonna have to do much better than this if he wants that seat.
In other comedic news, Daily Show correspondent John Oliver crashed the White House press briefing on Wednesday for a segment to be aired on an unknown date.
And, Wanda Sykes has been selected as the entertainer at the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner, which will be held on May 9.
